PROGRAM
Ancestral Crop Program
A program that celebrates Mexican agricultural traditions by connecting farmers, food, and community through education, seasonal experiences, and local markets.

Celebrating culture through agriculture
Regeneration is developing a cultural agriculture and agrotourism program centered on the promotion of Mexican food and agricultural traditions. The program supports farmers in growing culturally significant crops while creating educational, seasonal, and market based opportunities for the broader community.
This program connects ancestral foodways, farmer income, cultural celebration, local purchasing, and land based education. It also aims to create access for Mexican families and community members in the region to maintain their food traditions, celebrate cultural practices, and eat high quality food grown by local farmers.
The program is designed to support farmers while inviting community members, buyers, families, and partners to learn from Mexican agricultural knowledge, cultural crops, and traditional foodways.
Marigold Collective
The Marigold Collective is one signature initiative under this program. It focuses on cempōhualxōchitl production, collective sales, and Día de los Muertos related market opportunities.
Over time, the program may expand to include other seasonal crops, cultural celebrations, farm based events, and educational experiences connected to Mexican food and agricultural traditions.
